Medicaid Home Care G Code Billing Guidance Update

Heritage Health (Medicaid):

Effective January 1, 2024, the Nebraska Total Care Medicaid plan is aligning to Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) billing guidelines for the following Home Health codes when submitted via EVV G0151, G0152, G0153, G0156, G0299 and G0300.

Each service line on the claim will represent a single visit with the appropriate amount of units that match the time spent. The below table is the breakdown of units into time spent for assignment to the service line.
