School Community Intervention & Prevention (SCIP) works with schools throughout Nebraska by providing tools and resources to address behavioral and emotional health issues that impact children, adolescents, and their families. Annual trainings are also offered on a variety of behavioral and emotional health topics, like bullying, current drug trends, and suicide prevention, to the community and school staff.
SCIP welcomed nearly 400 community members to the 2025 Hop, SCIP, Jump, and Run event. Participants engaged in a range of family-friendly community-sponsored activities. 26 agencies operating within the Lincoln area were present, hosting fun-filled activities, and providing resources for participants. Nearly 200 runners participated.
