Vendor Training
Nebraska Total Care's commitment to compliance includes ensuring that our contracted vendors are in compliance with applicable state and federal regulations for providing services to our members on our behalf.
State and Federal regulations require that all persons who provide administrative or healthcare services to Medicaid enrollees to complete initial and annual training. Nebraska Total Care is ultimately responsible for fulfilling the terms of our contract with the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and the Center for Medicare & Medicaid services (CMS) and meeting the State and Federal Medicaid program requirements.
Nebraska Total Care has developed a process to assist each of our contracted vendors with meeting the Medicaid program mandatory training requirements. Each vendor must complete the below training within 90 days of initial contracting and annually thereafter.
Instructions
Review each training item listed below. Upon review of all training items, please complete the attestation form. The attestation form must be completed by an authorized representative within your organization (i.e., Owner, Compliance Officer, Organization Manager/Administrator or an Executive Officer) to attest to compliance with Medicaid program training requirements. if you have concerns, our Vendor Management team can be contacted at 1-844-385-2192 (TTY 711).
Step One: Document Review

Step Two: Exclusion Screenings
Each individual you employ as well as each associate of the entities you contract to perform administrative health services on behalf of Nebraska Total Care are screened against the OIG (LEIE) and GSA exclusion lists prior to hire and monthly thereafter.

Step Three: Training Attestation
